James William Guinn Obituary
James W. Guinn, age, 78 of Gladwin, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025. He was born on January 19, 1947, the son of William J. Guinn and Laura Fenner in Pontiac, MI. He married the love of his life Sandra Mastick in 1967, together they shared just short of 58 years.
Jim graduated from Waterford Kettering High School in 1965 and spend the next 30 years as a heavy-duty mechanic. He moved from White Lake to Gladwin in 1995 where he has enjoyed fishing, boating and riding his Harley, most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra, children William (Julie) Guinn, Jami (Bret) Haner, grandchildren Anthony (Wendy) Krupinski, Antonia Guinn, Kaitlyn Haner, Kyle Haner, Ryan Haner, and Haylie Haner, great grandchildren Jericho Murphy and Phoenix Guinn. His sibling Karen (Carl) Little, Jack (Rhonda) Guinn. Jim was predeceased by his parents and a sister Janet Richcreek.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:30am from the Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Bradstreet presiding with burial in Highlandview Cemetery in Big Rapids. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday, from 10 am until time of service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home.
