He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Koontz and Carolyn Koontz Jr. (Peters); his brother Leonard Koontz; and his siblings-in-law, Tracy Rogers and Sally.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Rogers; his children, Brandon Koontz (Sarah), Dustin Koontz (Madison) and Raven Geer (Josh); his grandchildren, Branson, Kallin, Parker, Calvin, Oliver, Lucy, Lydia and Jude; his children, Linda Gower (Dell), Jeff Koontz and Terry Koontz (Rita); his mother-in-law Jerrie Rogers; and his sister-in-law Paula. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
