We announce the death of Mary Jane Thorington of Gladwin, Michigan, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Baldys and Nellie Baldys (Kowalski); her husband Harold Thorington; her children, Diane Thorington, Harold Thorington, Janice Vedrode and Paul Thorington; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Thorington.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ryan Vedrode (Skye), Chase Vedrode-Jones (Jason), Troy Vedrode (Kayla), Matt Thorington (Rheannon), Thomas Thorington (Britney), Jessi Thorington and Nellie Thorington; and her children-in-law, Kurt Vedrode and Joanne Seeburger. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
