Mary Lou Muma Obituary

Mary Lou Muma, age 83, of Gladwin, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, with her loved ones by her side, at Gladwin Nursing and Rehab. She was born on February 22, 1942, in Gladwin, Michigan to Wayne and Marion Carbeno (Gooden).

She worked for Andy Muma for several years mailing pallets. She also worked at Simpson's for 25 years. She also was a home health care nurse for a very special gentleman. Mary also volunteered for meals on wheels for Gladwin County for numerous years.

Mary enjoyed doing puzzles, going to the casino was one of her favorite things to do. She also enjoyed knitting, washing cloths and going on color tours with her mother, but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family. She is survived by her son Terry (carol) Muma, grandchildren, Crystal (Shane) Woodford, Candy Muma, Casey (Kayla) Muma, three great grandchildren; Richard Woodford, Sophia Muma, Paul (Honey) Muma, a brother Dennis (Deb) Carbeno and a brother-in-law Chuck Waldron and sister-in-law Maxine Carbeno as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased in death by her parents Wayne and Marion Carbeno, two sisters Pat Holms and Carol Waldron, two brothers Dave and Charles Carbeno. A Special loved one Michael Muma and a special friend Lester Corlew.

At Mary Lou's wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
