He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Whitney and Donna Whitney (Klopf); his brother Howard Lee Whitney; and his niece Tonya Whitney. He is survived by: his siblings, Terry Michael Whitney (Wanda) and Sandra Kay Roach (Whitney); his nieces and nephews, Jerrilyn Renee Sanders (Whitney), Christina Jacobs (Roach), Connie (Roach), Osgood (Rob), Shantell Whitney-Abu (Cordell), David Whitney (Candice), April (Roach) and Schoenemann (Uwe); and his siblings, Ronny and Sandy. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pontiac Lions Club to support the Blind Bingo Program that Ronny loved.
