He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis E. Michael and Dorothy L. Michael (Rowden); his sisters, Sandra Michael and Frances Michael; his parents-in-law, Harold "Dick" and Betty Spillers; and his sister-in-law Arlene Spillers.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Michael; his children, Joseph Michael (Taylor) of Clio and Alyssa "Aly" Michael of Gladwin; his grandsons, Forest and Fletcher Michael of Clio; his sister Pauline Miller (Ken) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his brother-in-law Harold "Harry" Spillers of Auburn.
