He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Krompetz Sr. and Cleo Pelch; his son Rodney Krompetz; his grandson Canvas Watson; his brother Stuart Krompetz; and his son-in-law Mike Leuenberger.

He is survived by: his wife Deidree Krompetz; his children, Edward Krompetz (Susan), Gail Leuenberger, Kelly Kruskie (Jeff), Tommy Krompetz (Kristina) and Steven Kobrzycki; and his siblings, Angie Sweeney, Thomas Krompetz and Donald Krompetz. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
