He was predeceased by : his former life partner Sharon Mattes (Griffith); his parents, William A. Mattes and Lucile A. Mattes (Hart); and his sisters, Margaret Shripka (Al Shripka) and Lucile McInerney.
He is survived by : his wife Jacque Lott Mattes; his children, Michelle Mattes Roney, William P. Mattes (Lorri), Thomas P. Knapp (Maryane) and Jacque Leigh Revard (Andrew); his grandchildren, William Andrew Mattes (Ivette), Matthew Allen Mattes, Grace Lee Roney, Jakob Roney, Thomas Peter Knapp, Brady Patrick Knapp, Kaelyn Olivia Knapp, Tiffany Chislea, David Richard Chislea and Makenzy Ryese Chislea; and his great grandchildren, Gabriela Marie Mattes and William Alejandro Mattes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
