She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gute and Mary Jane Gute of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.; and her brother William Gute. She is survived by: her children, Mary, William and Tina; her husband Joe; her children, Jenny Hewitt (Doug) and Andy Batteiger (Velvet); her sisters, Mary Murphy (Dennis) and Tina Schwiesow (Chuck); her sister-in-law Kathy Gute; her granddaughters, Samantha, Victoria and Andrea Hewitt; and her friend Mary. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glen Lake Yacht Club (6617 S Sunset Dr, Glen Arbor, MI 49636).
