She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Kolk and Virginia Van Der Kolk; her husband Elton; her sister Angeline Thomas; and her brothers-in-law, Clifford Ransler and David Hurley.

She is survived by: her sister Barbara Coffey (Russ); her siblings-in-law, Dean Thomas and Shirley Hurley; her sons, Brian Ransler (Amy) and Paul Ransler; and her grandchildren, Nathaniel Pippin, James Ransler, Megan Ransler and Trevor Ransler. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and family friends.
