She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Blesing and Ida Blesing (Campbell); her brother Barry Blesing; and her granddaughter Kyra Sutton. She is survived by: her husband Jesse Richardson Jr.; her children, Adam Adams (Laura) and Hope Sutton (Theron); and her sister Evelyn Walburn. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
