Raymond A Sutphen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond A Sutphen of Goodells, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raymond A Sutphen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sutphen and Viola Sutphen; his siblings, Richard Sutphen (Norma) and Rosemary Sutphen; and his grandsons, Joshua and Caleb Runnals.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn H. "Evie" Jahn; his children, Dru Runnals (Marshall), Teresa Sparling (Dennis) and RaeAnn Hilla (Jeff); his grandchildren, Eric Runnals, Andy Runnals (Jen), Adam Runnals (Micaela), Lydia Runnals, Alex Runnals (Grace Turpin), Noah Runnals, Nathanael Sparling (April), April Lyn Sparling (Alfonse Lia), Matthew Hilla (Courtney Kavanaugh) and Michael Hilla (Caitlyn Burdick); and his siblings, Robert "Rob" Sutphen (Janet) and Ruth Ann Nelson (Woodrow). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Goodells P. O. (2925 Goodells Rd, Goodells, MI 48027).
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Goodells, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Spero Center.
