It is with sadness that the passing of Dale Roger Ritsema of Gowen, Michigan is shared. Dale, born on July 28, 1947, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ritsema. He is survived by: his children, Heidi Beard (Scott) and David Ritsema (Candie); his grandchildren, Mitchell Gregory (Rebecca), Clayton Beard and Lauren Ritsema; and his siblings, Bonnie Bode (Richard), Sharon Toering (Jack), Dennis Ritsema (Kathie), Kathy Nesbit (Tim), Darlene Smith (Jim) and Ron Hutchens.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Charles Catholic Church (505 S Lafayette St, Greenville, MI 48838). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (2894 Patterson Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dale's name to Medilodge of Wyoming.
