She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Goodwin and Margery Goodwin (VanVlerah); her husband Delos Julius Nielsen; her siblings, Phyllis (Louis Russell), Gordon (Diane Goodwin), Sharon Goodwin and Russ Varney; her granddaughter Brittney Krantz; her in-laws, Hans Julius and Marion Nielsen; and her siblings-in-law, Helen, Albertus Tiesma, Frances, Mark Hoppough, Rex and Shirley Nielsen.
She is survived by: her children, Deb, Rick VanSloten, Nancy, Al Reynhout, Tim and Tonja Nielsen; and her grandchildren, Alicia, Ben Barnard, Ryan, Ashley VanSloten, Natalie Nielsen, Nicole, Derek Middlecamp, Jason VanSloten, Andrew, Kacie Nielsen, Allison and Levi McAlvey. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Oakfield Baptist Church, 11128 14 Mile Road N.E., Rockford, MI 49341.
