With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Lewis of Gowen, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Lewis and Norma Lewis (Dunn); and his brothers, Mitch Lewis and Bruce Lewis (Cindy). He is survived by : his wife Luania; his children, Phillip Lewis (Rebecca), Jayden Lewis (Elena) and Tracie Stroh; his grandchildren, Garry Lewis, Cierra Stroh, Josh Ochodnicky and Carissa Stroh; his great grandchild Jayse Ochodnicky; his sisters, Sandy Modena and Cindy Ingnafol (Guy); and his cousin Gerry Lewis (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the K. E. Pike Funeral Home (13603 Northland Dr NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Kent County.
