It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard C. Bartrum of Gowen, Michigan, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald Bartrum and Gertrude M. Bartrum (Belding); his wife Linda Bartrum; his granddaughter Ciara Sloppye; his siblings, Henry, Nelson, Sr., Norman, Sr. and Gladys Cunningham; and his half-sister Nancy Bush.
He is survived by : his children, Barb Stump (John) of Rockford, Rich, Jr. Bartrum (Bonnie) of Greenville, Don Bartrum (Thea) of Gowen and Karen Farley (Dan) of Fenwick; his grandchildren, Chris Stump (Rachel), Stephanie Bouwkamp (Nathan), Rich, III Bartrum (Brook), Preston Bartrum (Maggie), Amber Bartrum, Lane Sloppye, Nevaeh Sloppye, Katie Bannister (Jason) and Sam Petersen; his siblings, Terry Bartrum (Linda) of Wyoming, Cliff Bartrum (Chris) of Lowell and Ruth Medinia of Grand Rapids; his half-brother Jack Bush Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Rick Cole (Laura) of Grand Rapids, Pat Cole (Patty) of Grand Rapids, Patricia Wise (Dave) of Belmont and Beverly Cole of Minot. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
