She is survived by: her husband Larry Carter; her sons, Phillip Gillman (Stacy) of Grand Blanc and Richard "Rick" Carter of Phoenix, AZ; her grandsons, Blake and Bryce Gillman; her siblings, Mike Martinka and Marie Braeutigam (Randy); and her sister-in-law Jean Martinka. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

She amazed me with her knowledge of production processes, how she worked with factory workers, engineers and union representatives. She had the respect of all those who worked for her and her peers.
