He was predeceased by: his wife Retta Green; his son-in-law Dino Bieglow; his grandchildren, Brandon Hacias and Sara Shelby; and his great grandchild Karie Bowman.

He is survived by: his children, Judy Shelby (Green), Billy Green, Denise Hacias (Green), Jeff Green, Pamela Bigelow (Green), Kevin Green (Brenda), Renee (Rick), Kirby (Green) and Kelly McPhee (Green); his grandson Steven Shelby; and his children, Kyle, Zachary, Derrick Hacias, Cody, Gabrielle McCulloch (Cody), Madison Green, Christy, Chancery Bigelow, Cory, Christopher Green (Gerilyn), Aubrey Folts (Kirby), Kurt Kirby, Kendra (Bastiaan), Koch (McPhee), Nathan, Ryan, Rachel (Purnel) and Nkwocha (McPhee). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
