She was predeceased by : her parents, Silverio Avila and Galdina Avila (Amaya); her former life partner Pedro Tony Mestas; her husband Robert Moore; her grandchild Lexi Mestas; and her siblings, Alfredo Avila Galan, Julio Escobedo, Silverio Avila, Ninfa Sanchez, Consuelo Alcoser and Uruanita Tracey.

She is survived by : her children, Connie Congdon and Pete Anthony Mestas (Lisa); her grandchildren, David Turnbow, Denice Turnbow (David LaBlanc), Rachel Mestas, Alina Christian, Heather Duffy (Matt Ruiter), Liana Mestas (Robert Gallegos), Raven Mestas (Emilie Tolly) and Martin Mayhall; her great grandchildren, Lance, Antonio, Danielle, Alexis Angelina and Wally; and her sister Naomi Reyes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
