She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Barter and Madeline Barter; and her sister Vicki Barter. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Young (Adrienne) and Ryan Young (Libby); her grandsons, Andrew and Nathan; and her brother Jim Barter (Joan). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
