Dolores Mae Spence Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Dolores Mae Spence of Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dolores, born on May 16, 1930, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Charles and Mildred Elizabeth Sliger (Vreeland); her sons, William James Spence and Robert Michael Spence; her granddaughters, Tiana Ronee Casabon-Nainer and Jamie Lynn Jamison; and her siblings, Earl, James, Leo Sliger, Elizabeth Pearce, Yvonne Nyman and Roberta Ewald.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Valentine (Paul) of Ypsilanti, Charles Spence (Debbie) of Burton, Debora Gorey (Joseph) of Swartz Creek, Laura Spence of Nashville, TN, Karen Jamison of Swartz Creek and Steven Spence of Nashville, TN; and her half-sister Linda Hockemeyer (Jim) of Hope. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (3415 E Hill Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439).
