He was predeceased by: his parents, William Suess and Laura Suess (Angermeier); and his siblings, Ralph (Helen), William (Joann), Eugene (Janet) and Laura Ann Rumpf (Dick).
He is survived by: his wife Monna (Campbell); his children, Eric (Karen) of Pocatello, Idaho, Elaine (Janet) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Douglas (Virginia) of Grand Rapids; and his grandchildren, Sarah Ransom (Scott), Aaron, Drew and Darby.
