He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Beissel and Marie Beissel (Brower); and his brother Jeff Beissel. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Beissel; his children, Maren Padget (Donnie), Edward E. Beissel (April) and Brian Beissel; and his grandchildren, Eric, Mackenzie, Cameron, Matthew, Addison and Ryan. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
