He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Monzo and Mary Monzo (Butler); his siblings, Frank Monzo (Lucy) and Mary Jean Bement (Richard); his half-brothers, Elywin Phillips (Betty) and Archie Phillips (June); his mother-in-law Pearl Gallaway; and his brother-in-law Charles Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Gallaway; his children, Sharon Hile (Dennis), Greg Monzo, Gayle Hewitt (Jeff) and Bethany Martin (Roy); his grandchildren, Christopher Hile (Ashley), Joshua Monzo, Amy Hile, Megan Hewitt (Chris), Melissa Drake (Justin), Kimmy Bailey (Spencer) and Morgan Buck (Josh); and his sister-in-law Marjorie Adams. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
