Gerte Armour Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerte Armour of Grand Blanc, Michigan, who passed away on January 10, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Andersen and Borghild Andersen (Matheson); her former husband Lennart Strand; her husband William Armour; and her stepson Jim Armour.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Strand and Eva Sutton (Ford); her grandchildren, Robert Solwold (McKall) and Alicia Haynes; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Ella and Oaklyn; her sister Berit Bernsten; her stepchildren, Bob Armour (MaryLou), John Armour (Maureen) and Linda Burleson (John); and her friend Gunny. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
