She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Buentello and Isabel Buentello (Flores); her sister Juanita Valdez; and her nephews, Bruno Valdez, Andy Valdez, Rod Ellis and Ken Magee.

She is survived by : her brother-in-law Andres Valdez Jr.; and her nieces and nephews, Michael Valdez (Crystal), Candelario Valdez (David), Christina Conn (Robert), Esther Valdez, Beatrice Ellis and Teresa Magee. She is also survived by her family and friends.
