He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dent and Irene Dent (Carr); his sister Mary; and his brother-in-law John. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Ann Miller; his children, Kim Savage (Jay) and Kevin Dent (Ashley); his grandchildren, Caiden, Easton and Ellie; his stepsons, Jay Miller (Brittney) and Jordan Miller (Libby); his pets, Jack and Tuzzi; and his siblings, Ed, John, Patricia and Donna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
