He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McHugh and Florence McHugh (Matthews); his brother Jim; and his sister-in-law Maureen. He is survived by: his children, Joe Jr., Alyson and Paul (Sarah); his wife Ellyn; his grandchildren, Aurora, Paul, Luke, Marco and Noah; and his siblings, Marilyn Rochester (Robert), William McHugh (Susan), Michael McHugh (Mary) and Janice Hartman (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dementia Society of America in Joe's honor.
