He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Smith and Audra Smith (Long); his brother Pete Smith; and his brother-in-law Bryce McGinnis, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jo Klock (Cecil) and Darrell McGinnis (Alma). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesee Wind Symphony, in Nicholas' memory.
