He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Peterson and Mary Ellen Peterson (LaBadie); and his parents-in-law, Albert and Marge Weldon. He is survived by: his wife Terry Peterson (Weldon); his sons, Ken Peterson (Lindi), John Peterson (Lori) and Danny Peterson; his grandchildren, Trevor, Tiffany, Nathan (Jazmin), Lexi and Katey; his great grandchild Paetyn; his sisters, Peggy Kustra (Gerry) and Paula Nemeth (Eric); his brother-in-law Larry Weldon (Angie); and his godchildren, Mike, Maggie, Nathan, Lexi and Katey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 9:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (11804 S Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, MI 48439).
