He was predeceased by: his children, Gordan Carson and Sharon Carson; his daughter-in-law Carol Hewitt; his grandchildren, John Carson, Ryan Murany and Eshton Hewitt; his great grandchild Alleigh Jordan; and his siblings, Leighton, Margie, Joyce and Leona.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Hewitt; his children, Steve Hewitt (June), Laurie Jordan, Rebecca Hewitt, Jay Hewitt, Anna Atkerson (Jay), Norma Bock (Eddie) and Regina Magolski (Ron); and his daughter-in-law Darlene Carson. He is also survived by 19 grand children, 31 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
