Hockstad of Grand Blanc, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Marilee Podlesak; his children, Richard C. II (Teri) of Lake Orion and Patricia "Trish" Wombwell (Edward Kolc) of Grand Blanc; his grandson Justin (Tanya Wombwell); his great grandchildren, Vicktor and Nikolai; his granddaughter Alyssa Wombwell; and his sister-in-law Cathy.

“Marilee & Family: We are so sorry about Dick's passing. Although Dick was not overly athletic at Grand Reserve, he always put out his best efforts, particularly in pickleball. We fondly remember meeting Dick & Marilee when we walked our son's dog (Charlie) and how you were always ready to give a small treat (to Charlie, not me). We regret that we will not be able to attend visitation and services on Monday as a result of contagious health issues.”
