Richard C. Sutliff Obituary
We announce the death of Richard C. Sutliff (Grand Blanc, Michigan), who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 90. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Carl Sutliff and Doris Sutliff (Berry); his son Kirk Sutliff; his parents-in-law, Bert and Bertha Miron; his sister Nancy; his brother-in-law Bill Thompson; his son-in-law David Riner; and his niece Victoria Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Karen of Harriman's Dairy; his children, Karen Riner and Timothy Sutliff; his grandchildren, Matthew Janzer, Heather Ettinger (George III), Kyler Janzer (Flor) and Courtney Olson (Evan); his great grandchildren, Kirk Ettinger, Amos Ettinger and James Janzer; his brother Michael; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Schulz and Sharlene Brown. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hill Funeral Home (11723 S Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, MI 48439). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (7296 Gale Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439).
In honor of Richard, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
