He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brockmon and Etta Brockmon; and his siblings, Shirley (Wade), Pat (Joe), Billy and Charles.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Brockmon; his children, Roy Brockmon, Jr. (Chris), Elizabeth Berardi (Vince) and Darlene Murt (James); his grandchildren, Rachel (Matthew), Lauren (Lucas), Courtney, Vinnie, Mitch, Nicole, Tiffany, William and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Theo, Penelope, Sofia, Elena, Everleigh and Mitch; and his siblings, Carolyn Hamilton (late Don) and Red Allen (late Sam).
