She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Pirozek and Anna Pirozek (Pilat); her spouse Thomas Black; her children, Judith Vanderpool and James Irvin; her brothers, Edward and Stanley Pirozek; and her stepson-in-law Dr. Paul Adams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Katona (Steven) of Fenton and Jill Hedtler (Robert) of Oxford; her stepchildren, Barbara Adams of Northville, Thomas Black (Theresa) of Harrison Township and Robert Black (Linda) of Drummond Island; and her daughter-in-law JoAnn Irvin of Troy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
