She was predeceased by : her parents, Nelson George and Marjorie Fern Root (Sullivan); and her sister Sharon Smothers. She is survived by : her siblings, Marjorie Beckers (Robert), Karen McClure (Greg), Charlene Van Eeckhoutte, Timothy Root (Laurie), Thomas Root (Eileen), Robert Root, Mark Root and Nelson Root (Carol); and her friend Gail Geiger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
