It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Gillis of Grand Blanc, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Gillis and Mary Grace Gillis (Hughes); his brothers-in-law, Henry Evans Miller and Daniel J. Paris; and his nieces, Erin Gillis, Cheri Glassburn and Laura Jenkins.

He is survived by : his wife Angela Gillis; his children, Emily Jenkins (Andrew), Joseph Gillis, Julie Costanzo (Bruno), Andrea Peiffer (Mark) and Sara Monnette (Jeff); his grandchildren, Alex, Gabriella, Caroline, Tessa, Evie, Oliver and Luca; and his siblings, Sharon Miller, Michael Gillis (Kay) and Robert Gillis (Linda).

“Uncle Tom was such a sweet, humble and loving man. I loved his quiet spirit and knew, that when he spoke, he was saying something important and I should listen. He will be missed but there is great comfort knowing that he is now in the presence of God and in the company of those who went before him.
