He was predeceased by: his father Hansford Howard; and his brothers, Jack and Bob. He is survived by: his parent Jerline Howard; his children, Matthew (Nicola), Michael, Ashley (Jeff), Danielle (Robert), Hansford (Taylor), Joshua and Terri; and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Cory, Vayla, Hunter, David, Colton, Emalyn, Lilliana, Rowan, Grayson, Jackson and Alaina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
