He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Etten and Vera Van Etten (Peterson). He is survived by: his significant other Patricia Van Etten; his son Jeffrey Van Etten (Brenda); his daughters-in-law, Latisha Van Etten and Carla Carter (Larry); his grandchildren, TaiLeah Van Etten (Mikey), Matthew Van Etten (Carrie), Billy Campbell (Sarah), Billy Van Etten (Brenna), Heather Galdes (Nicholas), Tameesha Ranger (Cory), Jeffrey Van Etten (Ashlee) and Moriah Van Etten (Theresa); his sons, William "Billy" A. Van Etten, Jr. and Timothy "Tim" M. Van Etten; and his grandson Christopher Lee Van Etten. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
