He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Potter and Gertrude Potter (Hoekstra). He is survived by: his wife Helen Eding; his children, Dwayne Potter (Lorrie), Amy Kaiser (Frank) and Dana Hanson (Ken); and his grandchildren, Erica, Brandon, Jordan (Sarah), Jason, Katie (Kyle), Alaina (Wyatt) and Alicia. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
