He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his daughter Charmaine Velik (Kevin); his grandson Joshua Velik; his daughter Alvina Pellegrom (Mike); his granddaughters, Erica and Christie; his son Jack Phipps (Julie); his grandchildren, Shelby, Shae and Robert Phipps (Karen); his great grandchildren, Spencer and Hayden; his sons, Joseph Jachim (Arlene) and Paul Jachim (Carol); his grandchildren, Diana, Paul, Joanna and Jacob; his children, David Jachim and Nancy Cook; and his siblings, Connie Hanks, Mary Edmond, Sue Milner, Bonnie Howard, Dan and Guy Phipps. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren (and one on the way); one great-great-grandson.
