She was predeceased by: her parents, William Newman and Margaret Newman (Clay); her husband Melvin Brown; her daughter Michele Ewing; her grandson Jason Bailey; and her sisters, Jean Butler, Wyoma Schuyler and Barbara Button.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Wing and Cherie Reiss (Joe); her stepsons, Kevin Brown (Dawn), Danny Bailey and Mike Bailey; her sister Mable Smith; her grandchildren, Amber Troupe (Jeff), Jessica Clover (Pat), Ali Palmer (Jared), Chris Reiss, Luke Wing (Katie), Geoff Saunders, Nat Saunders (Laurel), Brandon Bailey and Alex Brown (Kristen); and her nephew Dan Burns (Shelley). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
