We announce the death of Charles Murdoch (Grand Haven, Michigan), who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 78. Charles will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Murdoch and Bess Murdoch; his brother David A. Murdoch; and his daughter Katie Murdoch. He is survived by: his wife Deborah A. Murdoch; his daughter Anne E. Bianchini; and his grandchildren, Matteo Bianchini, Isabella Bianchini, Eva Bianchini, Jack Warner and Ellie Warner.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Chip may be given to the Harbor Humane Society (https://harborhumane.org), The Harbor Hospice Foundation or Alcoholics Anonymous.
