David John Fortenbacher Obituary

We bid farewell to David John Fortenbacher of Grand Haven, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 2, 2026 at the age of 88. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Fortenbacher and Aloise Fortenbacher; and his sisters, Linda and Mary. He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Bartrand of Muskegon; his sons, David (Sandi) and Todd (Diane); his stepchildren, Dawn Butcher Buitenhuis (Rob) and Patrick Butcher (Karin); his wife Ann Marie Butcher; and his brother Michael. He is also survived by his two sons, stepdaughter, and stepson, as well as his 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
