It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Elmer Harden of Grand Haven, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harden and Julia Harden (Buczynski); his grandson Kyle Soule; his sister Virginia Stolarz; and his son-in-law Trey Lawton.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine Appel; his children, David Rogers (Janet) of Sand Lake, Jeff Rogers (Kim) of Zeeland, Jody Briggs (Martin) of Grand Haven, Amy Lawton of Grand Haven and Lori Kopenski (Scott) of Casnovia; his grandchildren, Chelsea Stream (Scott), Abrielle Wildman (Robert), Madison Hadobas (Nathan), Braydon Soule (Genevieve), Libby Soule (Taylor Fortenbacher), Gracie Soule, Riley Kopenski (Alysabeth Bentley) and Chloe Kopenski; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Wyatt, Valerie and Kyle; his stepgranddaughters, Miranda Rudkin (Josh), Jenna Pouba (Jeremy), Kristi Carpentier and Kayla Carpentier; and his siblings, Arlene Wierenga (Bill), Brenda Berkompas, Rosemary Shrum (Terry) and Larry Harden (Therese).
