He was predeceased by: his father Horace Burns; his grandson Beau McConnell; and his siblings, Treva, Keith and Bud Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Hoff; and his children, JoVanna McConnell (Adam) of Grand Haven, Mike Burns (Susan) of Minster, OH and Brad Burns (Jackie) of Bonifay, FL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
