He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. and Mary L. Steere (De Persia); and his son Donald. He is survived by: his children, Beth Walker (Rhett) of Sumter, Jennifer Mason (Robert) of Columbus, Ohio and Robert Steere of Concord; his daughter-in-law Anna Steere of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Madison, Reese, Riley Walker, Kate, Brooke, Dean Mason, Chloe and Tessa Steere; his brother Dr. Robert C. Steere (Dian); and his former wife Cheryl Jones.
