It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie Jolean Meredith of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Kreigh and Alice Kreigh (Hinckley); her husband Wendell "Bill" Meredith; her daughter Samantha Meredith-Long; her great grandchildren, Dominic Baumgarner and Kaitlynn Nelson; her siblings, Mabel Tice, Mary Ann Kreigh and Johnny Kreigh; and her parents-in-law, George and Natalie Downs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Meredith of Muskegon and Vicki Sanger (Chad Alsteens) of Grand Haven; her adoptive daughter Sheila Vinson; her grandchildren, Scott Sanger, A. J. Sanger (Reba Jordan), Brittanie Nelson (Josh), Kyle Reynolds (Meredith), Nitosha Wiegand of Tyler Bragdon, D. J, Jessica Vantassel (Hope), Kristopher Baumgarner, Courtney Baumgarner (Marvin Smith) and Brandon Baumgarner; her sister Sandra Wheeler (Dale); her son-in-law Bill Long; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Meredith, Donna DeCan-Pranger and James Tice. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
