He was predeceased by: his father Lester Knoll; his son Terry Knoll; his siblings, Sally Knoll and Robert Knoll; and his siblings-in-law, Kristi Knoll and Glen Wedeven.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Wedeven; his children, Constance Bakker (James) of Holland, Mary Hamstra (Todd) of Grand Haven, David Knoll (Suzanne) of Grand Haven and Michael Knoll (Laura Lambertson) of Grand Rapids; his daughter-in-law Nancy Sherman (Armand); and his brother Blaine Knoll. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
