We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2024, at the age of 90, Emma Smith of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Beedeville, Arkansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emma Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Baumgarner and Ethel Baumgarner (McElyea); her husband James L. Smith; her siblings, Theresa Schulte, Alice Baumgarner, Eugene, Billy, Leon and Ken Baumgarner; and her sisters-in-law, Opal, Carrie and Marion Baumgarner.

She is survived by : her daughter Ronda DeYoung of Grand Haven; her grandchildren, Shelby DeYoung Turowski (Todd) of Livonia, MI and Jason DeYoung of Windermere, FL; her great grandchildren, Brayden and Cameron Turowski of Livonia, MI; her brother Mack Baumgarner of Grand Haven; her sister-in-law Donnie Sisney (Don) of McCrory, AR; and her close friends, Tom and Jane French. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lake Forest Cemetery (1304 Lake Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417).
